The Biggin’

My good friend Steve and I embarked on a little night fishing last night in the hopes of landing some big fish. We weren’t expecting anything this big though, that’s for shizzle. Steve (with his kiddy pole) snagged this baby and fought it for a good 15 minutes or so. Steve’s Dad came down to where we were and helped us pull it out since neither of us have much experience handling catfish. After Steve and him nearly fell in a few times we had the behemoth out of the water and ready to weigh. The catfish weighed in at 14 pounds, a personal record for Steve. He also caught another (slightly smaller) catfish just before, that broke his line as we were pulling him out. After that, they weren’t biting anymore so we called it a night. I caught a few, including a pretty 2.5 pound bass, but Steve definitely took the crown for the night. Way to go, buddy! :D
