It amazes me how some people using a little creativity, can prosper greatly from the internet.  One case of this is Kyle MacDonald’s quest to turn one red paperclip into a house by up-trading.  On July 12, 2005 he started with a paperclip and has since traded for such items as a fishpen, coleman stove, generator, a van and is currently up to a record contract for trade.  It looks like he’s not too far from his goal which is simply amazing.

If this is amusing to you, you might want to check out the Save Toby site that’s been around for quite a while.  The site owner has been threatening to kill (and cook) his cute pet rabbit, Toby, unless he sells 10,000 copies of his book aptly titled, “Save Toby“.
