With the Winter Olympics nearly over, the most unlikely of sports has captured the hearts of many across the nation.  The intense winter sport known as Curling, which is basically shuffleboard on ice, even managed to coax our President into watching it.  My father-in-law and I watched in amazement on Sunday as these so-called atheletes shoved the “stone” down the ice and controlled it’s speed and direction with brushes on sticks.  I’m sure it’s a lot harder than it looks…but we feel confident that after an afternoon of practice, we would be fully prepared to compete in the Winter Olympics.  I just can’t believe this is actually an Olympic sport.
