Now that’s a big iPod
Next month marks Apples 30th birthday and they plan on celebrating in a big way. How big? Try 220.7 acres big!  After winning an abandoned mine in Western Australia from the late Kerry Packer during a poker match a few years back, Apple CEO Steve Jobs, decided to construct the worlds first advertisement viewable from space (Google maps). It’s taken two years to construct the iPod look-alike and was not supposed to debut until next month.Â
Pretty cool, but I fear that we’ll be seeing some golden arches covering The Rockies before too long.
