How can anyone forget this lovable gadget from the beloved move Back to the Future.  After seeing the movie for the first time I new the Hoverboard™ would someday be mine.  What I didn’t know is that it would be 20 years later, it doesn’t fly and cost around $30,000.  That’s right, the original prop from the movie is up for grabs on ebay and will cost you WAY too much money.  If you have that kind of cash to throw away have at it.  Personally, I would only consider purchasing it if a Delorean was included.  Happy Bidding!

Especially since the first trailer has leaked of Tron 2. It’s really crappy quality and hard to make out what’s going on…but that doesn’t stop it from draining my bladder into my pants.  I’ll update the post when a proper video is released.  Until then, this is as good as it gets.  BTW, IMDB has it listed as releasing in 2011…crap!

Update:  Sorry, this video is pretty damn elusive.  Everytime it’s shows up on the web it’s pulled almost immediately.  Guess we’ll have to wait for an official release.  I’ll update the post when a worthy video is released.

It amazes me what some people are able to do. Lori has the unique ability of injuring herself, while I can move objects with my mind (mostly dust particles right now). But this crazy Chinese dude impresses with his Paper sculpting/Transformers nod/KFC Lovin’ ability. Might be a little more interesting if you can read Chinese.

Known Problems:
• Can get a little warm after use

• Levy had problems with one of his email accounts, due to his ISP blocking port 25. Apple’s engineers “suggested a fix and said that this was something that would probably be addressed in an update.”
• EDGE data is very slow
• AT&T’s signal is lousy
• No hardware playback buttons (on the phone itself) make you go back to the iPod app to change songs or stop music
• Takes more taps to reach the phone interface than other smartphones
• Getting your contacts onto here from your old phone may be a hassle
• No real-time navigation
• The few web-app programs Mossberg tried weren’t’ impressive
• Camera is only good with ample light and no motion
• Only 200 text messages included on any calling plan
• Playing back music through an iPod dock may cause interference, so the iPhone “offered to switch to airplane mode”. Doing so means you get no calls.

What we still don’t know:
• How fingerprinty/face greasy it gets
• What extra features will be available in the new iTunes releasing tomorrow
• Whether Bluetooth file transfer works (I will run naked through the streets if it works)
• When and how often software updates (with new features) will appear
